New Subject Guide for App-Literate Library Users

Librarians are always curious and passionate about new information sources and technological innovations. Contrary to the popular idea that apps are only useful for “consumption,” the best mobile apps are being used effectively as tools to enable learning and knowledge creation. They are also making it easier for people of all ages and abilities to learn and create without having to focus on technical problems. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the number of apps available and you are not sure which are the best ones, we created a Subject Guide called “Apps for Academics” on current mobile applications of the Library’s subscribed e-resources.

Download links for apps are provided for Android, iOS and other devices.

Check back often for new apps!
